What would be the best car to drive to Bangkok in?
Need something reliable, easy to repair, cheapish anything that you think could stand up to the journey.

That's London to Bangkok by the way

Old Toyota Hi Lux or Mitsubishi L200.

Peugeot 405 diesel (Basic, non turbo) - sold all over the world. Economic. Reliable.

an 80's ford ,if i remember they were quite easy to repair. The trip sounds fun ,better than flying got any room?

An old diesel Merc (70s - early 80s). Reliable, and known worldwide. If it does break in outer Mongolia, someone there will have the bits to fix it.
