Are there any website that will help disabled or paralyzed people to
purchase a handicap accessible vehicle? I'm a 20 yr old quadriplegic & I have a 3 yr-old daughter. About a week ago, our handicap accessible van quit working. Without that van I'm not able to go anywhere. I can't even go to church. That is the worst part of not having any kind of transportation. I live with my 62 yr old mom & she has to take care me & my daughter. It is alot for her to have to do. As for repairing the van they said that it would cost more to repair it then it would to just buy another van. My mom my daughter & me live on just under $1200 a month. After we buy my mom's medicine & my medicine, & also pay for daycare a few days a week & pay bills the money is gone. It is almost necessary for me to have this van. I don't know how we are going to get the money. If you know of an organization that helped people with stuff like this please let me know. Any donations are greatly appreciated :-)
