Selling a car registered in NV to a California resident question?
Okay, so I plan on transferring the title from my car registered in las Vegas, NV to my mom who lives near Los Angeles. But I was on the California DMV website and it talked about some cars from other states not being able to be registered in California. So how would I know if my old car could be registered in California? Also how do a I transfer the title to my mom, who lives in another state (since the title wants her as the buyer, to give them her NV license and she only has a CA license).?
And if I am unable to sell it to her in California, are their companies in vegas who would buy my car and tow it (the engine is not working)?
FYI the car is a 2004 Kia Rio with a shot engine if that helps.
