Mazda Tribute 04?

Hey guys, I got a Mazda Tribute 4 cylinder, its standard transmission, and well maintained, recently it started cutting off when i engage the clutch, I think its the throttle body sensor or the evap sensor, i haven't got around to checking the lines but like i stated its well maintained, oil change regularly every 5000 full syntec, belts changed every 25,000, the fuel filter changed every 10,000 so I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas before i start tearing apart everything.
