Hello, I recently purchased a 2001 GL Beetle...its got around 92K on it...and I am looking forward to driving it for a while....If anyone owns/has owned the same model or would like to share their expreriences with possible "beetle" problems -issues that might occur...I would like to hear abt it....I just want to be prepared for all to come...thanks!
Nice car, but be prepared for some crazy electrical problems. Find a mechanic who likes VW's or specializes in them. Most run of the mill garages don't like VW's or are not familiar with simple fixes to common electrical problems that you car can have.
