If a car collision occured and no police report was filed, how long do you
have to file a accident report? I was involved in an car collision almost two months ago, I was changing lanes and some car hit me on the side. Well, we decided not to call the police and resolved the issue ourselves. No insurance info was exchanged at the site, only phone numbers. After, many unsuccessful attempts to resolved this issue, he doesn't want to pay for the damages covered. Now i want to file an accident report and get our insurances companies involved. How long do i have to file an accident report in florida? As well, can i take him to small claims court to pay for damages?
