I have a 1997 volvo penta 4.3. It runs very cool--100 degrees. Tried everything...
...to get it to 160. Cannot.? I've replaced thermostat, impeller, circulator pump, checked the temp gauge, and even had a mechanic hook up his external temp gauge. Same thing--100 degrees. Today I ran it for an hour in the lake, and felt the hoses--they were very cool. I don't think its a big problem, but I can't figure out why it doesn't run at normal temp. Any ideas?
