Hey guys, i had just tinted my car's windows and installed an alarm system. No one knew about it. This morning, as i got into my car, i discovered that someone had placed a WHITE, empty envelope under my windshield wipers. The envelope was the size of a regular greeting card envelope. Does anyone know if there is some kind of meaning behind all this? I dont want my car broken into...i live in a good neighborhood and as of now have not heared of any breakins...maybe you can help?
its strange, it cant be a parking ticket since the car was in my driveway. If the alarm went off and annoyed someone else, why whouldnt they leave a notice saying my alarm was annoying or went off at night? im pretty sure i must have heared it if it went off too. Followup to the guy with the long message: The alarm has own powersupply and can not be shut off by ripping it out. Killswitch is already installed. Having an alarm is certainly better than having nothing at all. Neighborhood is good but you never know. The world isnt perfect. thanks for your answers

in some states,
tinted windows are illegal?
but idk for sure if thats why they
put that envelope in on ur windshield..

A white envelope often accompanies a parking ticket. Perhaps the wind blew the actual ticket away or someone removed it so you'd fail to pay and get in more trouble. I imagine you could contact the police or college police to determine if you've been ticketed?

well, if your windows are too highly tinted, police may be trying to tell you that you need to lighten them up. if not, i dont know what to tell you.

if you live in a good neighborhood then why the alarm system.... set really whos care if its going off do you run outside and check everytime it goes off i dont think you do can you even heard it inside your house.... man it make me so mad when i keep hearding one go off all nite.... really if someone wants your car it will do little good and if they want something you left inside it only take a minute to break grap and run so really about the only thing they are good for is to drive other people nuts..... number one rule dont leave anything in the car you would like to keep.... and a kill switch works better than any alarm system... nothing will stop someone if they want inside....i could come and pick it up with a tow truck bust the window open the hood before you could get to it or before the cop come and what good is that..... im sure it was you make someone mad with the alarm going off so try leaving it off when your home maybe
