How does one remove "frozen" spark splugs from a 2005 Cavalier Ecotec motor?

I have 82,000+ miles.

I thought finding the plugs was adventure enough. I found them alright. I have been fighting to remove them. I could not move them in anyway. I did not damage anything, since I just put everything back to the way it was and it started just fine, so I am no worse off than I was.

What do I do next?
