First, how do you know it is a vacuum leak? Second, if it is a vacuum leak, the idle is usually really high, is your idle high? To fix a vacuum leak, most times you would follow a shop manual diagram of all the vacuum lines and see if they are all hooked up. Sometimes you can even hear a vacuum leak if you know what to listen for. Your information you gave is very slim, so it is too hard to give you good advice. There is many problems that can cause your stated issue with it stalling when going into drive.
