Thread: ford fiesta 1999 zetec?

why should my car be running like a bag of nails? i have had a major service and cleaned the fuel lines....it still has a loss of power when accelerating and misfires (very) occasionally.
could it be the electronic ignition??

any ideas

Hi some times on the zetec the plug leads breakdown because they get very hot where they are and that would cause similar symptoms to what you describe
Also make sure the oil is not leaking in to the plug wells on these OK
