marvin-g. No I don't think he directly controls oil / gas prices, but I do think he could release oil from the stategic reserve to help mitigate the problem, and his poor policy decisions do have a direct effect on the price of oil / gas.
Besides Marvin-g, what I think of Bush is not the question, could you please just answer the question without trying to be confrontational?

it was 99 cents in louisville for 87octane two years after he took office, and if we start importing more oil from other countries it will ultimately ruin our econemy just like all the idiots who buy japaneese cars. Bush definitly was in the oil buisness at one time but even then he was competing with the major compaines who control gas prices now. atleast its better than Obama going around making false promises about lowering gas prices BEFORE his term would even begin.
