    Do Male Hamster Always Fight In The Same Cage!!?

    my 2 hamster were put together in one cage when they were yunger.
    they sleep together, never saw them play fight or anything
    they dont hide there food anymore (at first they did .. .scared)
    and sooo please tell me will they fight

    for now, im not really worried.
    we give them equal attention too and soo they literally get out the cage pretty often.

    It depends if they are dwarf hamsters or Syrian hamsters. Dwarf hamsters are the smaller of the two and are social while Syrian hamsters are very territorial. Syrian hamsters will play and eat and sleep together in the same cage until they reach adulthood. Then, even litter mates will show aggression towards one another and possibly fight to the death.

    In the case of Dwarf hamsters, males may fight if not from the same litter. Otherwise they should will get along just fine. Also, be sure to group the same sex together in a cage, not different.

    I suggest if they keep fighting to separate them into different cages, and in different rooms.
