Thread: WHY does Edward love Bella more than Renesmee?

Parents are supposed to love their children more than anyone.And in chapter 26 Bella tells Nessie ''You're more beautiful''(she told Ness that she's more beautiful than Bella herself)and Edward says ''I'm not sure I can agree''.That part made me mad.Plus, he hated Nessie because she was stronger than Bella during the pregnancy and only stopped hating her cause he saw that she loved Bella!Parents love their kids more than anyone in the world.Edward is so sick.

Lol, overreacting just a little bit? But anyway, Just because Edward says that Bella is more beautiful, really doesn't mean that he loves her more. Also, Edward could just have been teasing Nessie a little as well. I don't remember this part from the book, but maybe you just misinterpreted it a little.
