Who would you list as the best author, then the worst?

For me, Chuck Palahniuk is my favorite.
Last, well, it's Meg Cabot.
I'd say Stephenie Meyer, but since I was once a Twi-hard(as much as I degrade the series now) I'm neutral these days.

Other than that, state your opinion freely.
