What happens in Persepolis 2?
I am writing an essay that encorporates Persepolis (the first book), but I am interested in looking at Persepolis 2 for context. I won't be able to get a copy of the book until Wednesday, so could someone give me a brief idea what happens to Marjane? I am mostly concerned with if she goes on to suceed, and if she really escapes to safety- like her parents intended. If anyone could help, I would be very grateful.
It would be amazing if you could include a quote or two, so that I could tell if it really is worth looking at to encorporate into my paper.
Do you think it would be a waste of time to look at Persepolis 2, to speak about safety and coming to terms with a violent world?
