my friend wrote this poem and she says it is bad... and i want your opinion so i can show her what other people think!
I can hear your breathing, close
The stars on the sky glitter and glimmer out of my focus,
The love I can feel so close yet so far out of reach
Tell me how to come back to basics with you
How we can reconnect
So that there’s nothing between us disturbing perfection that must be
Something has to give here
Pull together and break through the glass wall
Trust that it won’t touch us in its shattering
City lights that shimmer across water
Never had more allure than tonight
Don’t stop now, not when we’re so close
Tears and blood have cemented our link
Years that could only bode well
Limbo is the harshest punishment we’ll get
