here are two rough poems i just wrote. tell me what you think asap! PLEASE, ASAP!...
...hehe? A zuihitsu is a type of Japanese nonfiction, characterized by its apparent formlessness. The name zuihitsu means “follow the brush.” The purpose of this type of work is to allow the writer’s brush to skip from one topic to the next led only by his or her natural association.
I am supposed to write a short zuihitsu. I have to begin by exploring thoughts about a variety of different topics, such as nature, music, and personal conduct. Let your mind doodle just as your hand might. Jot down the various ideas you come up with. When you write your zuishitsu, do not include transitions or try to make obvious connections between the various sections. Instead, skip from one topic to another in whatever direction your natural associations take you.
Anyways, this is what I have so far. I can’t think of how to finish it off. Please finish it off for me thanks : )
I have two rough and quick zuihitsu here…please continue on with whichever one you please
Beautiful tree
Small fragile green leaves
My eyes smile
The sound of children laughing
A ball bouncing on concrete
My heart sings
OR
the sway of the trees
the singing of the birds
treasures of nature
that abound us
the sound of a trumpet
playing with gusto
in the open breeze
the music hall doors ajar
people rushing here
and playing over there
and wishing everyone
is not in any despair
