Has anyone ever worked at a music festival?

Either in Security/ organising/ policing? I was just wondering what the attitude on drugs was? It seems that the take on drugs is more lenient at festivals compared to anywhere else! why do you think this is?
please note im not looking for ways to take drugs into a festival! im writing an article about security attitude at festivals in particular on drugs
