Walkin up to him I said nervously," hi ".
The man replied.I noticed that he had a round face,cold grey eyes that fidgeted around their sockets allittle too exuberantly and pale sallow face.He was wearing black robes that was a little long for him.
"Mum and Dad are on their way."I spoke.I had just finished saying when Dad came out,grinning broadly.He shook hands with the man as he said,"hi, Bob.I hope there wasn't much problem finding our house."
"Oh! Not at all ",he replied ,smiling,"but I tell you if I haven't seen your dog I would have missed it." he added,with a frown "Quite a Dog,a german breed I suppose."
"Yep!",father said,looking adoringly at the brown beast,"bought him at the first bargain-never laid eyes on the dog ,this better."Then giving a quick glance at his watch he said,"So -erm-do we have to follow you,Bob or"-.
"No ,no I think we'll manage in my car."And with the eradication of his raspy note he gestured at what seemed like the most primitive invention of cars.It was small,painted red with huge headlights and a convertible roof.
Dad roamed around the ancient structure with a dubious look on his eyes and then said derisively,"Bob! Are you sure it can hold three people?". But this question was taken as an effrontery to the car's emotion for Bob began to patt cars bonnet and retorted in a mingled tinge of pride and annoyance,"this thing can hold five people and yet you can't differntiate between its throttle response".Dad nodded in fake admiration and then said,"Joyce-go and call your mother we are already late".
I hadn't gone far when mother herself came out,Ron trotting behind her.Father went up to her while bob started the car and told her in a whisper that they would be going in Bob's car.Both of them settled with a little difficulty and I heared the house agent saying cheerfully,"you have to give the doors a little push.Yeah there.All set-here we go."He stepped on the accelerator and a loud whine erupted from the front.Bob's eyes were nervous yet an unmistakable sinister smile broke on his face as the car rattled away in the mist.
"I doubt they'll reach the house",Ron said staring hard at the vanishing car.
"Yeah,"I admitted,as I rubbed my hands together for some warmth in the blistering wind,"Come on ,let's go - I can't stand this in c-cold."
"I'll miss this house,you know"Ron said sadly, as he closed the door.
"Thanks to grandpa's stupid will",I said as I crossed my hands over the legs and sat on the stair case.
