ok, so i registered my iPod touch (3rd generation) with my PS3 and it worked. Now with the new iOS4 for the iPod touch, it included a bluetooth keyboard to use. But the trouble is i don't know how to get the keyboard working!!!
Any solutions besides buying a proper keyboard for the PS3
Please any help is muchly appreciated!

Actually, your wrong. It only adds the ability to use other Bluetooth keyboards.
