Thread: Tried to steal bluetooth from Bestbuy, but didnt steal it.

I went to best buy and for some reason i was thinking of shoplifting a bluetooth which is worth around 50-100 bux. I took it out of the package and put the bluetooth in my pocket, but i felt like one of the worker was following me because he noticed i took the item, so i walked quickly and threw the box behind other items, and walked a lil further and threw the actual bluetooth in another spot so they cant find it. But they found the box that i threw and came up to me and asked me if i had stole it and i just told them that i found the box and just threw it in the back. So i was just in the store looking at stuff and i could tell that they were like looking at me just waiting for me to steal something or whatever. So i bought a dvd and another set of bluetooth, but at the entrance they asked if they can search me and they did and i didnt have anything on me so they let me go. I am 21 years old and they didnt take any of my information. What do you think will happen to me? Technically i didnt take anything from the store. They just found the box, but they probably didnt find the actual item. But i didnt take it.

I mean i didnt steal anything and also they didnt take my information or anything. Do you think they are gona come to my house?? the cops or whateveR??

You didn't steal anything, so they can't do anything to you. Unless, of course, you broke the bluetooth when you threw it and they do find it and confront you about it. Then you will have to pay for it.

no biggy, you're safe, you didn't steal anything, and unless the guy saw you throwing the bluetooth they can't prove you broke it either. I doubt they'll call the csi and have them dust it for prints XD, no one will come to your house. You did non take anything out of the store. You could sue them for searching you if you want anywho. Don't worry, they'll just keep an eye on you there next time
