Samsung SLM (SGH-a747) - transferring contacts/calendar to/from laptop via Bluetooth?
I know it's not quite a PDA, but it's a typical PDA function, so I figured you PDA people might be able to help me out here.
The question nearly explains it. I'm trying to figure out how to do what it asks. Is there any way to transfer my entire phone address book to my PC laptop (and vice versa)? I'm also looking to transfer calendar items (or even sync) from computer to phone and vice versa.
I have an Iogear Bluetooth USB Adapter and have successfully been able to move files between the two devices. On the calendar, I guess I'm looking to be able to create it in a format that is recognized by the phone. I'm using Mozilla Sunbird, with .html, .ics, .csv, and .vcs formats. Though the phone seems to use .vcs, it doesn't seem to support .vcs files exported by Sunbird.
Contacts seem to use .vcf, at least when sent from the address book to another "My Stuff" folder on the phone.
Any suggestions?
