enable bluetooth discovery on lg chocolate?

I have an lg chocolate the second generation with verizon. my screen is cracked but the rest of the phone works fine. my goal is to enable buetooth discovery so i can sync my contacts to my computer. so if anyone could tell me what keys to press in what order to make my phone visible that would be awesome!
