The problem is, that i live in south amerika. i am going to sent my ps3 to a relative in new jersey.
That is why i want to be sure what to send him.

Cause in one of the forums i read that you have to send in everything.
please do not mind my english

all you send is the console...i could be wrong but i think that all the required maybe the cords but i doubt they need it. they should of told you or email you all the things they needed prior to sending it in.

If you are sending in the PS3 for repairs you only need to send in the console itself.

I once had to send in my PS2 for repairs many years ago and I only had to send the console.

It sucks that your Blu-Ray drive died though. I've heard a lot of 40GB and 80GB PS3 owners here on Yahoo Answers saying that their PS3 wouldn't read Blu-Ray discs anymore. I've had the 60GB PS3 since launch and haven't had any problems though.

Sony doesn't have thousands and thousands of consoles to repair like Microsoft and you will probably get your PS3 back in 2-3 weeks because that's about how much time it took me to get my PS2 back when I sent it in.

I would think they have all the cables setup and ready so all they need do is plug in your PS3.

    Just send the console.

i feel bad for you. i have had my 60 gig since launch and had 0 problems. i would just send the console. and i dont know but you might want to take out the hard drive. its not hard, its on the side, you open it up and take out 1 blue screw. its just an option for you.
