Tuning engine training DVD/Blue-Ray?

I am looking into buying a DVD/ Blue-Ray to learn to tune my Chevrolet LS1 5.7L engine, I bought the HP tuner pro software but feel that I could use a better understanding of how to tune. I know there are different help videos but would like to get some good feedback so I can use your experience to help me make the best choice. Thanks ahead for your replies.
So have any of you bought the Greg Banish GM EFI Tuning DVD and used it? If so when you tuned your car was it with the HP tuner software? Was the DVD helpful in using the HP tuner software?

Well, something free is always a good try, if it dont help it wont harm.

You can use a car performance simulator for free, there you can take your car, any car, install the engine, and do mods to find out how the car would perform, because how a car drives is NOT only defined by the engine.

just my 2 cents.....I always check you tube for information before I buy and have found it to be a money saver at times, hope this helps
