Our Samsung Blue Ray firmware upgrade included You Tube. How do I control

viewing content? I can't figure out how to restrict inappropriate content form coming on our TV through the Samsung Blue Ray player that accesses the internet.

Unfortunately there's no content blocking on the YouTube option in the latest firmware. All you can do is unplug the network cable or turn off the wireless connection. Hopefully your firmware update doesn't introduce too many problems. A lot of people are complaining about broken features with this new release. Samsung makes good hardware, but their software is really flakey, so I'd recommend doing some research before you apply future firmware updates.

Your blu ray disc player does not have a tv tuner built in, so you should have no tv interference. Once you upgrade your firmware disconnect the connection, my old Panasonic blu ray disc player BD-10A is one of the first blu ray disc player made has had only one firmware update to this day and same with my Pioneer Elite. Hope this will help you out.
