This is like the beta/vhs thing from years of lore when the beta owners wound up ultimately getting El Shafto Grande'. On the other hand, I just bought a HDTV and really want to get going with some movies. I'd hate to buy an HD player and find out two months later that dual format machines are on the market.

both lg and samsung make this but i would just get a dlu ray because it has much better movies on it. the only good hd one is transformers.
