How good is Playstation 3 compared to other blueray players at the same price?

the difference is you also get a built in hard drive and wifi for internet ( for BD live ) , powerful gaming system , internet browser and can store music , pics and videos on the hdd too , plus use the ps3 for social networking with text , voice and ( with the optional camera ) video chat plus playstation home

A Blu-Ray Player is a Blu-Ray player and will play a top notch film what ever the make. although obviously the PS3 can do way more things than a standard Blu-ray player.
