Platinum from Sony? Ok, so I bought an SR10 from Sony recently and am searching for a software to edit the AVCHD format.
I looked around on the web and gained interest in the Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum and the Platinum Pro (which costs about 16 dollars more). Then I scrolled over to system requirements and noticed that I didn't need much at all (256mb-ram, and 512mb-ram recommended).
And since I will be buying a desktop end of this year it wouldn't be any of a problem.
But then one thing does bother me in the system-requirements, Supported BD-R/-RE drive (for Blu-ray Disc™ burning).
Which I don't have, and which i'm not planning on spending 400 and more for either...
So is this really a necessary requirement to install on my computer/pc and to edit my HD?
I don't want to burn anything with it (especially not blu-ray), so could someone please help so I won't waste my money by buying it.
