Blu ray showing not clear as smooth on my LG 42" HDTV. (The picture is grainy)?

I bought Playstation 3 80GB last month, and the Blu Ray drive is not showing clear as smooth which i was tried to sort it out like setting from Playstation 3 and even my LG HDTV 42" with HDMI cable in ( 1080p ).
Its showing grainy but when I play the game on Playstation 3 was perfect not grainy.
I would be grateful to hear from you, Thanks
