    Blu Ray Player Problems?

Not so much a technical aspect. But I have a Sony Blu Ray player. and I have a Vizio 42 in. I was watching the dark knight, and it came up in full screen. Then somewhere down along the line, i don't know when, the screen had a bar on top and bottom. I don't think I pressed anything. How do I get it back to covering the full screen again.

    Thank you

The Dark Knight is a special case, your player is working fine. Some of the shots in this movie were done using an IMAX camera, and some of them used a standard one. When you see the lines, it means you are seeing the standard shots. The director did this so the IMAX scenes could look as good as possible. There is nothing wrong with your blu-ray player.

It's your television. Most likely it's the format is set on automatic which adjusts your screen automatically while the movie is playing. You need to switch the format to Full Screen. Check in the settings their should be formats like automatic, full screen, 4:3 etc.
