Which is a better quality blue ray or HD ?
I have a Mac Mini hooked up to my 42" Sony LCD (HDMI setup 1080p)and can purchase HD movies from itunes for a lot cheaper than Blue Ray DVD's. So I was just curious which has better picture quality.

Blu-ray has far better quality. Not only it can have up to 1080p resolution, but also the bit rate is much higher than anything itunes uses.
