Thread: Blackberry Internet/apps not working but BBM is?

Hi. I'm asking on behalf of my friend; for some reason her Internet/apps (whatsapp, etc) aren't working yet her BBM itself is. She's tried taking the battery out, and doing the advanced > router etc thing and it didn't work. She called her network at customer service and they said there was nothing they could do? Just wondering if there's any solutions that may work.

It sounds to me like your friend has bought a BlackBerry allowance, but not a data allowance as well. To use both BBM and data, your friend needs both types of allowance - a BBM allowance, and a data allowance. If she buys just the BBM, she will get the BlackBerry services, but no data. If she buys just a data allowance, she will get data to use Whatsapp, etc, but no BBM. She needs to check with her network what allowances she has, and get the data allowance added on, for an extra fee.

I've got a blackberry and mine did that it worked the next day I toke out the battery and I cleared all my history I turned my wifi on and off, and just kept trying hope it helps
