BitTorrent Question, please help.?

So I have utorrent, and I get my videos from btjunkie.org. My question is why do I have to download the movie, and then watch it, why can't I watch it directly, without waiting hours for the download? Where is the original source for the file? and why do they take so long to download? All help would be appreciated.

the reason why you can't watch the video as it's downloading (known as streaming) is bcuz torrent files download in scattered pieces rather than from the first bit to the last. you can't stream a torrent video bcuz, in order to watch the video from beginning to end, you would need to download the file's bits from start to finish. since you're downloading a torrent, you're receiving data from the beginning, middle, or even the end of the file and in no particular order. the file only becomes complete when the last bit is received. it's just the nature of torrents and there's nothing you can do about it.

Why you Have to Download the Movie? why can't You watch it directly?
First of all btjunkie.org and other torrents sites are P2P like lime wire or Ares etc.. they are not hosting the Movie its share by the users not by btjunkie.

Waiting hours for the download?
It depends on your Internet speed and if your Ports are NOT open to Make connections with other users sharing the content is going to take you 5 6 7 hours or maybe more...

Where is the Original Source for the file?
Comes from a user who wants to share his files regular user like you and me..

Why do they take so long to download?
Again because your Ports are not Open The ports on your Router They need to be Open so you could Use your Full Internet Speed.

Search on Mininova For "Speed up Utorrent" is a Guide that i uploaded a month ago Explaning how to open your ports on Utorrent or Any P2P or search for "ICEM3N" on Mininova...

Torrents are basically directions on were to download the file. They take a long time because of leeches and their file size.
