Anyway to prevent the government to track you down when downloading torrents. Does hiding your IP address work, because I also want to prevent hackers to find me

I dont know about torrents, but if you want a non tracked computer run firefox and get the addon better privacy, ive had my pc for 4 months new and i had 163 super cookies(which are undeletable unless you get better privacy)
