Thread: Anyone knows why my utorrent is suddenly starting to download large torrents at

a very slow speed ? It used to download at about 300kbps now it barely reaches 40kbps.

As for the small files (1gb or less) i download at 1.9mbps

There are possible reasons on it, first could be you are using your PC for other stuff like youtube while torrent is running , second is that it is possible that you have downloaded a torrent with a very few seeders and leechers.

It could be that there are very little seeders sharing the data. I noticed that when I download with plenty of seeders, I get pretty decent download speeds.
