I've been told:
-to go home and charge it and use it
-to go home with it on, wait till it's dead then charge it
-neither matters

which will help prolong my battery life?

I would definetly go home and charge it. I've had experience with electronics and their batteries just dying on me probably because i didn't go home and charge them. Its very important, i think if you want to make sure that you get the most use out of your batteries.

I have always read and been told that whenever you get a new gadget, such as a cell phone, that you should definitely go home and charge it for a few hours. So, I would charge it immediately.
