When I try to take pictures of the Moon with my D-SLR, I can't get the Moon
to come out clear? I have my apeture wide open, 3.5, or 5.6 if I zoom, and my exposure time is anywhere from 10-30 seconds, but the exposure, even if there is a half-moon, comes out looking like a full moon. I want a clear picture of the half moon and stars, any suggestions? I have a Nikon D-40x. I appreciate any help.
