Image stabilization would be nice
Lithium-ion battery (rechargeable)

Included macro mode
Easy to use menus
Face detection technology - if it's not overly expensive, then sure
Software included like photoshop or something that I can use once I transfer the photos online

My daughter just bought a new Kodak EasyShare with 7.1 pixels. I think she paid around $130 for it. I was surprised to see that it takes really nice pictures. The only thing I'm not sure it has that you're requesting is the face detection.

You have all the necessary criteria now you have to match them to a camera. Just add that the camera uses a SD memory card and you will be set
