Time Warner Cable gave me used cable boxes and used cable internet modem? Is this
normal? just got time warner cable but everything they provided is used even the remotes. Is this their standard policy or was I just unlucky. They gave me the RCA cable modem and I wanted the Motorola Cable modem.
They didn't even provided the cd installation kit to optimize my internet performance. The boxes are all scratched I was expecting new ones like Dish. Can I return them for new ones since I never received a new one or am I stuck with these pieces of junk. The boxes work properly but they got some big scrathes. Also, does anybody know why the cable that runs the internet get so hot. I mean everythinh including the boxes overheat and they have alot of space around it. Even at night they are hot. So again I ask if I can return these boxes and the cable modem for new ones without paying a fee. Thanks.
