Samsung E900 will not charge?

Hey i have had this phone for about a year and I went to charge it today and I plugged in the charger and it turns off as if it shorted. It is not the charger as i tried a different charge, sam problem. Also the bit that you plug the charger into keeps moving about.

Anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
