Is it safe to use a gas patio heater indoors?
This may seem a silly question but a family member has a caravan which they are staying in over the easter holidays. They have an extra bit, like a tent or awning (sp) attached to the side of it which they have a patio heater inside to keep it warm.
I tried to explain to them y'day that you cant use them indoors due to the gases being given off from the patio heater which is run off a gas bottle. They didnt believe me, maybe Im wrong!
Most people who were sitting in the side part of the caravan were either tired, or had a sore head. I tried to explain that is was probably due to the gas patio heater being on indoors, but no one believed me!
They are staying there in the caravan until tuesday with that bloody heater! Which, after a while, not only made me tired but also gave me a sore throat.
Im I right by saying this is dangerous or am I being silly by thinking that?
Im home now anyway so Im not stuck with that heater anymore but i'd like to let them know if its safe.
