Nikon D60 Battery EN EL9 when to charge?

Hi. I recently purchased Nikon D60. It's my first DSLR.
On the day I received the camera I charged the battery for about 1 and half hour when it stopped blinking at the charges which indicates fully charge. Is it ok for me?
I've been shooting for about 350 photos and it's still 75% charge.

I'd like to know when to recharge the battery again?

Is it okay to recharge the battery even when it's not fully discharge. I mean can I recharge it when it's still have say 50%.

Thanks!

Please help me. I can't find the answer anywhere else.

The battery type is EN EL9.
