My cell phone will get text messages from another phone, but not from...
...another computer. How do I fix that? I am talking about computer-to-phone texting, not IMing. I get phone-to-phone text messages just fine.
My friends used to be able to text message my phone through Yahoo IM. But now, Yahoo displays a message box that says, "Phone number #### cannot recieve SMS messages at this time."
This only happens to my phone, btw. I can text my friends' phones with Yahoo IM, but it no longer works vice-versa.
How do I correct this problem? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Because, why should someone have to PAY to txt me from their phone, when they can do it from their computer for FREE?
I get great reception everywhere. I have an LG AX8600 through Alltel. I know my phone is wired for this, it says so on the box.
