Thread: Im new to zippo.can I use butain liquid insted of zippo fluid?

K well if I do use butain loquide will it damage the zippo and width ones the most cheepest zippo fluids or butain and how much is zippo fluid and how much is butain fluid in Canada Winnipeg

No! flint based lighters like zippos can only use the kerosene based fluid. trust me, i had a zippo, filled it with butane, and it gummed up the valve and almost ruined the lighter. Only use real zippo lighter fluid! I have no idea what prices for lighter fluid are like in Canada
