Thread: im looking for a sci fi movie.?

the idea in the movie that i recall reading about is, that it takes place in the future. The world is over populate and there are like 2 days a year that murder is made legal. Im not so sure about how often it is legal. I am pretty sure that the legal murder thing has something to do with the title of the movie. I was looking for sci fiction movies. I googled, "science fiction movie" and on one of the web sites a synopsis of this movie popped up. i cant remember anything else about the movie except for what i just told you. no name no title and no year, not even any actors. please help! it sounded so interesting!
