...when the battery wears out? You know iPods have non-replaceable battery (unless you pay Apple to replace it)
I have a speaker that has an ipod dock which also charges the iPod.
If I leave my iPod on it all the time, the battery will naturally wear out much more faster.
My question is, I never use my iPod other than listening it through my speakers. In other words, it can be always on the dock. It would not be a problem for me. So, when the battery wears out completely, would my iPod work nonetheless because of being charged through the dock?
Thanks!
PS. For the purposes of this question, please think of an ipod whose battery is completely worn out-- that is, when you take it from the dock, it almost instantly turns off due to the insufficient battery.
