HTPC system: is Mac Mini a good choice? if not which one?

i'm planning to configure a home theater PC system. Found out about the Mac Mini and its usage as a HTPC core, but seem like the video card is not that impressive... so was thinking whether its a good choice or not (cause Mac Mini looks very good, small, simple and elegant in the living room)... Large clumsy CPU towers are sort of out of question
