Ok, so when I bought this tv new, I remembered turning it on and doing some scanning, shortly after that I was getting like 3 free HD channels, but now the problem is that after putting cable, I can't get those channels again??

I have taken out the cable box and done the same thing, where it scans through all the channels and nothing, bought an HDTV antenna hooked that up on the "air" line, then after that the cable hookup line and do the scan and nothing, I've done everything with the scanning and have tried looking this up online but no luck..

I just don't understand why I was able to do this when I first bought it and now I can't,, what am I missing? Anybody know?

There must be a way to get these channels as I had them for free last year, just can't remember what it is that I did, that I'm not doing right??
